It's pretty embarrassing, but last night's pork chops were a tad tough due to going too long on the grill. So, what's a foodie to do? Call your brilliant-in-all-things sister and get the skinny on all things Asian and figure out the way to use leftovers and turn it into a PHO FEST. Sliced the grilled pork into small bites, cut off the grilled corn from the cob, added it to broth, onion, some carrots, equal parts lime juice and fish sauce and some pho noodles. On the side we had the cold bean sprouts, the cilantro, the sliced hot pepper, the sri-racha sauce for those that wanted a more incendiary experience. Ever wonder if this kind of food would weird out your kids? Here's some proof that the answer is: NO WAY! And, no... I didn't teach her to give the thumbs up!!!
