It has been a long hiatus! For a number of reasons - most of them good - I haven't had a chance to post here, but it's time for a comeback. I started this blog around the Holidays of 2005, so as they started this year it was as good a time as any to get back on the blog-track.
In the upcoming days I'll get back to posting recipes, links, etc., but for today, I just wanted to knock the dust off and post the Turkey Day dinner plate. The turkey was the best yet, injected with a homemade marinade with copious amounts of garlic, white wine, Worcestershire, sage and orange juice. The cornbread stuffing with Italian sausage, sweet Vidalia onions and Granny Smith apples could have been the only thing on my plate and I would have been happy. The photo is missing the Alfredo Mac n' Cheese, Aunt Lily's cranberry sauce, the three pies and much more... Like the Holidays, it's just nice to be back.
