If you ever happen to be there, my favorite pizzeria in this hemisphere is on Avenida Corrientes in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It's called "Las Cuartetas" and is short on ambience and LONG on flavor. There is a pizza there that we try and recreate in a modified version in our house. I start with some fresh focaccia bread from Paesano's Market in Cape Coral, FL. I slice it in half and open it up. Then I layer it with Tavern Ham, sauteed onions in olive oil and oregano, mozzarella, slices of fresh tomato from the garden and then put the top on and bake it in a hot oven until everything gets RIGHT!
