It went just the way we wanted it to:
>> Tomato salad with lemon zest, fresh mint and a rice wine vinegar dressing.
>> Grilled boneless leg of lamb that had marinated all night in cabernet vinegar, garlic and fresh thyme.
>> Caulifower gratin with Manchego cheese sauce and slivered almons.
>> Artichoke and pea stew with Serrano ham pieces, deglazed with Amontillado Sherry.
We ate so well and so quickly that we didn't even take pictures!!!
Dessert was a flambee of fresh strawberries in Gran Marnier and melted chunks of chocolate over vanilla ice cream.
This was a weekend you would have wanted to be at Andy's Diner!!!
